Karen Kayes has owned the Nursery since 2007. It was the culmination of a long-held dream, to run her own business providing the kind of care she would have chosen for her own 2 children.

Karen has over 25 years experience in management and she personally supervises all staff appointments, placing the highest priority on ensuring that all employees have the appropriate personal qualities, as well as experience, to lead children's development.

Claire Sharp and Claire O'Hara share management responsibility for the day to day running of the Nursery and have over 20 years experience of working with children between them.

Although both are qualified, they have returned to education recently, with Claire Sharp working towards a Degree in Early Years, in between caring for her 2 young children, whilst Claire O'Hara is an Early Years Professional (Qualified Teacher Status)

Our staff turnover is low and we are proud that over 90% are qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above. All staff are vetted through Criminal records. We also invest every year in staff training and each employee has a skills development plan. This means that your child will be receiving the best quality care, in a stable environment which supports their ongoing learning and development.
